Compliments, Comments and Concerns
Compliments, Comments and Concerns
At Pembroke Park Primary School, we are committed to providing the very best education, care and opportunities for every child. As part of Magna Learning Partnership (MLP), we share the Trust’s commitment to enabling every learner to thrive and fulfil their potential.
We value the views of our parents, carers and wider school community. Your feedback helps us to recognise what is working well, celebrate the things that make our school special and identify where we can continue to improve.
Compliments and Comments
We are always delighted to hear when something has gone particularly well.
Whether you would like to recognise a member of staff, share something your child has particularly enjoyed, celebrate a positive experience or simply tell us what you value about Pembroke Park, we would love to hear from you.
Equally, we welcome constructive comments and suggestions about how we can continue to develop our school.
Feedback is shared with the appropriate members of our team and contributes to the ongoing development of Pembroke Park Primary School.
Concerns
We know that, from time to time, parents and carers may have a question or concern.
We encourage you to speak to us as early as possible. In our experience, many concerns arise through misunderstandings or a lack of information and can be resolved quickly through an open and constructive conversation.
Wherever possible, concerns should initially be raised with the member of staff closest to the issue, usually your child’s class teacher.
If your concern cannot be resolved at this stage, or you feel that it requires further discussion, you can raise it with a member of the Senior Leadership Team or the Headteacher.
Making a Formal Complaint
Pembroke Park Primary School is part of Magna Learning Partnership and follows the Trust’s Complaints Procedure.
The complaints process is structured in stages:
Stage 1 – Informal concern
We will aim to resolve concerns informally wherever possible through discussion with the appropriate member of school staff.
Stage 2 – Formal complaint to the Academy - If your concern has not been resolved at Stage 1, you may make a formal complaint to Pembroke Park Primary School. Stage 2 complaints should be directed to the school in accordance with the MLP Complaints Procedure.
Stage 3 – Review by Magna Learning Partnership - If you have completed the Academy’s Stage 2 process and remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you may request that your complaint is escalated to Stage 3 through Magna Learning Partnership.
Full details of each stage, including timescales and how complaints are considered, can be found within the Magna Learning Partnership Complaints Procedure.
Working Together
Our aim is always to work positively and respectfully with our families.
We want parents and carers to feel comfortable approaching us when something does not feel right, just as we want to hear about the moments when we have got things right.
By sharing your compliments, comments and concerns with us, you help us continue to make Pembroke Park Primary School the very best it can be for our children and community.
